Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.

Pure truth is surely the Full Light of God, being so much more powerful than the Sun to the eyes, burning into the hearts and souls of men when seen directy on.
How could we bare it as the contrast of our condition from perfect to fallen?
I believe that the Love of God is the explanation needed for its present absence in its fullness and of necessity He allowed evil.
God hides Himself from us.
He shall return even into the dark places, in time and we shall be burned unless protected by Faith in the Spirit of The Law(being The Heart of God) which was shown as our Salvation by The Lord Jesus' Works among men under The Letter of The Law warning us in our sojourning.
